Events Co-ordinator

Based: London
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum depending on experience 
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility during events)

We have an opening for an Events Co-ordinator role to provide administrative, logistical and promotional support across the team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events such as lectures, conferences, awards ceremonies, dinners and webinars. While event management experience is desirable, an interest in this field as a career is crucial. 

You will be an enthusiastic and creative individual with a proactive approach. You will be organised and customer-focused with excellent communication skills. You will need to be flexible with your hours of work and committed to attending events (sometimes at unsocial hours). 

You will join a small friendly team collaborating with all areas of the organisation. 

There will be an opportunity for you to develop into a Senior Event Co-ordinator within 18-24 months. 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Day-to-day administration of a variety of events;
Managing and maintaining the content of the events website;
Production and distribution of promotional material, liaising with the Events Marketing Manager and Design team;
Liaising with external suppliers – building relationships and ensuring cost-effectiveness at all times;
Communicating with and supporting internal colleagues; 
Creating and managing schedules and planners;
Inputting and processing data;
Maintaining the event in-house registration system;
Dealing with daily customer enquiries;
Onsite management at events;
